I have been more busy than I care to admit. I went to the beach just once. i have been just working my butt off. I'm not really complaining. I'm enjoying myself, but I haven't had much down time.
I just got home from bringing my muffins to the fair, actually, to say it proper, its the Champlain Valley Expozishan (you have to say it like a redneck for the full effect). I decided to enter the baking competition.... just for fun and because really, I am competitive and don't have much of an outlet for it. Tomorrow I'll go to the fair and see if I won. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I so badly want that blue ribbon, I don't care aboutt he six bucks, I just want that blue ribbon. Entering something in the fair gets you free admissions too. Not too shabby.So tomorrow I'm going with Ophelia and Abina. I'll hold my breath the whole way. I really want to win. Then I'll eat junk food. I haven't entered anything in the fair since I was a kid.
The demolition derby is on Thursday. I am so going again. I fricken love it and I want to work on taking more photographs of the rideds all lit up at night.
Tonight I'm going to visit a dear old friend, he's not old (because then I would be too) I've just known him for many years.
Zeke got home from California on Sunday and left early Thursday morning with his band Unrestrained for their cd release tour to Ohio, Kentuky and Maryland. They used my photos in their cd insert. I am so thrilled about that. I am a little worried about the weather they've been having in the midwest and them driving.
